Reverie'17: Fiesta for Renaissance

Mark your calendars and get your friends along on the 14th-15th- 16th of February to the grounds of Gargi college because Gargi college is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. You just can’t afford to miss the “Fiesta For Renaissance” which will be bigger, better and a lot more fun than ever! The three- day long extravagant fest will have an amazing line-up of formal events which will be accompanied by various other informal exciting activities as well. The whole college is already enthusiastic about the most awaited event of the year and has kick-started the reverie mood with its pre-jitters.

The 2016 reverie was a huge success with its pro-nights staring the most audience pleasing entertainers like Anushka Manchanda, MJ5 and Keerthi Sagathia. With Vh1, MTV, Fever 104, Mobikwik and several media partners on board, this year Reverie promises to be more attractive with its eye catching and vivid variety of stalls including merchandise, accessories, stationery and much more. Hold your breath because that’s not just it! Reverie opening on the V-day will have something special for all. And on the last day of this fiesta there will be a surprise element for all. After awe-strucking everyone with Celebrities like Aditya Roy Kapoor, Hritik Roshan, Pooja Hegde and Guru Randhawa, Gargi College presents Reverie 2017 “Fiesta For Renaissance” and its star line up. Reviving the 90’s childhood for day 1 We will have Ratna Pathak shah, Maya Sarabhai as our star guest. Nizami Bandhu with their mesmerizing qawwali jugalbandi and later Bismil will light up the valentine evening.

On day 2, Urvashi Rautela will add glamour to the Fest and in the evening Progressive Brothers will make you groove on their beats! The fiesta will have a wrap up on the 16 th with Sanya Malhotra, Dangal fame and a Gargi alumini. Shamli Kholgade will mark her presence at the star night and will make you dance on her bollywood numbers. Reverie isn’t just about the star line-up but is also always given a heads up for its mouth watering food stalls which will not fail to impress your taste buds. Chicago Pizza, Taco Bell, Subway, Eggers Madhouse, wafflesome, Instafreeze and so much more! The student council, the PMR have always been appreciated for their exceptionally well done job which they manage to do with the very supportive faculty of the college.

Gargi college has always managed to steal the show with its ‘oh-so- awesome’ societies. Beginning from Kshitij the street play society, Sparx The choreo society, Enliven the western dance society, Upstage the dramatic society, Hues-The Fine arts society, Samranjini- The Indian Music Society, Glass eye- the film making society, Euphony- The western music society be it performing or non-performing society, each one of them have brought prestige to this college. At Reverie 2017, each society will be holding various competitions. We, on behalf of all the societies of our college invite you to come and see the best in one arena.
