We have all heard of dreams coming alive but very few of us have ever experienced something that seems like we’re imagining and it can’t be true!

A similar situation happened to occur for Simaran Vigg, a fresher from SRM who got her Jabra fan moment come true and meet her favourite actor Akshay Kumar when he came to promote his upcoming movie Rustom at Hansraj College in Delhi.

“I reached the venue with my friends two hours earlier to just get a glimpse of Akshay Kumar. The crowd was huge as expected but it hardly mattered, I was just concerned about getting a single click of Khiladi of Bollywood. Fortunately we got into the VIP section with the help of a friend when the cast was distributing CDs among the crowd, and it created total chaos ending with some random guy hitting me in the face. I stood up to him and it was then that Akshay Sir noticed the situation and asked people not to push because there were ladies around getting hurt. To my surprise, he said “Aap zara inhe upar bulayenge” and needless to say, I got super excited on my way to the stage!”

“He asked my name and said “Apne college walo ko batao ke apko kaisa lag raha hai”. When I told him that I didn’t belong to this college and have just managed to enter somehow, he had a big laugh. He asked me to let my hair loose and dance with him on Tere Sang Yaara. Obviously my fangirl spirit was at its peak by then, getting as lucky as to have see and talk to the iconic superstar of our generation was emotionally moving for both of us. We took a selfie, I was given a music CD of Rustom and left.”
Simran describes it as the ‘bestest’ feeling ever! Well, we congratulate Simran on her fan moment and wish her the best for having many such moments in next 3 years.
