Does pressure in metro cities push small towners into depression?

A number of incidents have been witnessed in recent times wherein young people migrating from small towns to big metro cities with numerous dreams commit suicide due to trivial reasons. What is it that’s compelling so many ambitious minds to take such a big step?
Let us begin with what differentiates the people of metro cities from people of small town. Primarily the general opinion would be that the openness and the scientific way of thinking is what draw a line of difference between a person of a metro city and a small town. But I have a different opinion on this, I think it is the exposure the people of metro cities have to the lifestyle of the upper class and the better facilities they have to life that puts them apart from those of small town as they have never witnessed the lifestyle of the people of the upper class.
It’d be extremely wrong of anyone to think that the people of metro cities are wealthier than those of small town as in metro cities too people of every class and people of varying amounts of incomes are present, also asserting that the people of metro cities have more talent and are more intelligent than people of small town would be us being judgemental as talent and intelligence are equally present in all of us, just that they are present in different forms or in different fields. So the only difference that comes up is the difference in the exposure they have to the lifestyle of the wealthier, the opportunities they have at addressing and nurturing their talents. And due to these primary differences some secondary differences like the people of metro cities in general being more educated might arise and may play a role in making the people of small towns develop a sense of inferiority. So to answer the question if the pressure in metro cities pushes the small towers into depression, as I have already said that the only thing the small towers lacked was facilities and opportunities and the rest was just a result of the same so they need to realise that they are in no way inferior to the people of metro cities in terms of talent or intelligence and should try to decrease the difference that had arisen due to them experiencing a lack of facilities by improving themselves in whatever way they can.
So to conclude I’d like to say it again that the people of small town should try to bring down the difference that might have arisen due to the lack of facilities they faced by trying to improve themselves and should not feel inferior to the people of metro cities as they do not lack neither talent nor intelligence, it is mere opportunities they were deprived of.
