FMS Student Bags 1.02 Crores Package!

Faculty of Management Studies, a reputed post-graduation institution of Delhi University has set a new record with one of its student bagging a massive pay package of Rs. 1.02 Crores in an international company.

There’s an increase of 20% in average package to 20.5 lakhs from 17.08 lakhs last year. A total of 210 students had participated in the placement drive this year, during which various companies from different domains participated. Some of them included EY Consulting, Accenture Strategy, Star India and ITC among others, according to FMS officials.

FMS recorded 100 per cent placement for its students and the highest domestic pay package for this year stood at Rs. 66 lakh per annum, which is Rs. 31 lakh more than last year.

Adobe, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Heinz, GAIL, Nestle, HT Media and PepsiCo are few corporate giants to be named that recruited from FMS in sales and Marketing Sector, while companies that recruited for finance sector included Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Vodafone, American Express, Standard Chartered, Yes Bank among others.

FMS saw a 30 per cent increase in the number of finance roles offered to students this year, when compared to the last," the annual placement report for the 2014-2016 batch stated.
