"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and beheld, service was joy."
Enactus, a unique not-for-profit organisation that justifies this statement completely, transcends the fences between corporate bigwigs and student efforts as it synergically brings the two together for upliftment of the society as a whole.
Enactus Delhi College of Arts and Commerce too has put its sizeable travails behind the cause of uplifting scores of underprivileged and thus they recently launched a Christmas and New Year Campaign to share the joy and vibrancy of the season with their extended family- their target communities (the people they work with)

Through this campaign, they went out to meet the children of their target communities and celebrated with them by singing Christmas carols, dancing and distributing books and sweets.
With this they also resolved to spread such smiles not only on these special occasions but always and they also request all the fellow mates to show some support to this campaign by letting the world know their resolution for this cause too!
Besides this campaign, Enactus DCAC has two current projects namely, Project Adhikar and Project Vikalp.
Project Adhikaar aspires to a vision in which not only are the marginalised women sustainably employed and independently earning in the unconventional field of e-rickshaw and cab driving but also achieve an even more profound social impact by giving them self-defence, hygiene and social skills training.
On the other hand Project Vikalp offers conventional avenues of employment with its vast stitching and marketing programs for mothers and older women who find it difficult to traverse the domestic threshold.
By these little efforts, Enactus DCAC resolves not only to extend a helping hand but also to work side-by-side with these people to create opportunities.
Because at Enactus, they have decided to make human progress their business!
