Top 10 Much Awaited Releases of 2016

It’s winter out there and time to bid adieu to another great year 2k15! 2015 entertained us with superhit movies like “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” with Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in lead, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” featured Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan and still counting for Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani to add to the list of 2015’s megahits! But, 2016 is going to be an even more entertaining year for Bollywood die-hard fans. Straight from our internal sources we bring to you the top 10 releases you can look forward to in 2016:

1. Wazir

Amitabh Bachhan & Farhan Akhtar starrer action thriller film Wazir is going to rock the theatres with the eternal charm of Amitabh Bachhan on 8th January. Aditi Rao Hydari, John Abram, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manav Kaul will add to the thrill of the film! The movie revolves around two unlikely friends – a wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster and an ATS officer who’re brought together by twist of fate.

2. Fitoor

When Fitoor comes to your mind, comes along with it is the elegance of women artists. This is another great movie to book a date for cause it’s all full of Romance and Drama directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapoor. Beautiful serenity captured in Kashmir, stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif and Tabu in lead roles. It’s definitely going to be another great movie for Katrina Kaif fans out there!

3. Sanam Re

Releasing on 2nd February, 2016, a Divya khosla film falling under romantic genre stars Pulkit Samrat, Urvashi Rautela, Yami Gautam & Rishi Kapoor as leading artists. Sanam re is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar Kumar and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor.

4. Raees

King Khan's Raees will hit the theatres on 8th July'16 i.e. on Eid and will also be starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui with him for the first time. An Indian crime-thriller, Raees is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Gauri Khan under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment.

5. Dishoom

The name well depicts that it’s an action film directed by Rohit Dhawan and being produced by none other than Sajid Nadiadwala. Being a Rohit Dhawan film, it’s a multi-starrer featuring Varun Dhwan, John Abraham,Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshay Khanna in lead roles. Music by Pritam Chakrobarty is much awaited. It covers Morocco as well and books the theatres for 5th April 2016 with 45 Crores of investment.

6. Baaghi - A Rebel for Love

The trio Sajid-Sabbir-Tiger will be seen together after their last venture Heropanti. Directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it’s going to be a romance filled movie featuring Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady. Shroff seems to be a rebel fighting for love again. Release date is April 29, 2016.

7. Jagga Jasoos

Girls who madly wait to see Ranbir Kapoor in the theatres will be going crazy for this movie. To be released on 3rd June’16, the film will be featuring Govinda as Ranbir’s dad and depicts the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. Wishing all success for the movie!

8. Mohenjo Daro

Releasing on 12th August, 2016, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hedge. It’s an upcoming epic-adventure-love story directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and Disney India. The film brings out the era of Indua Valley Civilization set in the ancient city Mohenjodaro.

9. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Another romantic film written and directed by Karan Johar stars Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma in lead roles and is booked to be released on the Diwali weekend of 2016.

10. Sultan and Housefull 3

Both movies starring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar form to be part of New Year 2k16! Wishing great luck to Bhaijaan & Khiladi of Indian cinema!
