Lounges and cafes are the latest trend among youth of Delhi for throwing parties and chilling with buddies. The Beach House Café is also one of such hangout lounges in North Delhi. In a narrow lane of Model Town 2, this lounge is situated on first floor of an old looking building so you must know the exact address of the place before coming here.
Based on obviously beach house theme, the café’s décor will surely appeal to you in the very first look. The dim lightening adds as a cherry on the cake. One would also find antique beer and Champaign bottles displayed on shelves on the walls pointing to the theme. Though the place is not very spacious and probably cannot accommodate more than forty or max to max fifty people at a time, efforts are made by the staff to attend the customers in the best possible manner if they’ve arrived.
Loud music, from Punjabi to English tracks, will definitely make you groove and shake your booty on the dance floor. Two LCDs have also been placed perhaps for cricket screenings in IPL and various cricket leagues seasons. Thus, the ambience will give you a proper beach kind of feel and take you to Goa in your minds (with that much warmness too because air conditioner barely works).
Coming on to food and service, the menu consists of merely 4-5 vegetarian dishes namely Chilly Paneer, Chilly Potato, Pasta and Pizza. For non-vegetarians it’s a treat because a variety of dishes are available to satisfy their taste buds. Taste is average and we recommend not ordering pasta coz it bad might ruin your mood and visit. Service is also a bit slow so make sure you order as you enter to save time. Prices are cheap considering the fact it is a lounge located in a central place like Model Town.
But what’ll make up for all the glitches and make you to come back again to this place is the Hookah. The hookah served at this café is probably the best you would find in any nearby lounges. Moreover, it is quite cheap too as compared to other parlors in the area.
The Final Verdict
All in all, the Beach House Café undoubtedly deserves a visit if you’re a hookah lover but if you’re not, you might not find this place much worthy of giving it even a single visit (especially if you’re a vegetarian).
