Samsung has introduced world’s first monitor with the ability to charge your phone without any wire. SE370 will woo many of us, it is the industry’s first monitor with integrated wireless charging function. It can charge any device compatible with Wireless Power Consortium's Qi standard, a variety of phones, including Samsung's own Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge as well as many of Microsoft's Lumia phones and certain phones made by LG, Motorola and Sony can be charged. The new monitor will cast away the bunch of hanging charger wires, the charging area is integrated into the stand of monitor and all you have to do is to place your device nearby. An LED light notifies when charging commences.

As sales of monitors has declined in past few years, this year is expected to have a slip of about 3.4% in sales. Being one of the leading monitor manufacturer Samsung always tried to amuse buyers with its new innovative products. "Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles," Seok-gi Kim, Samsung's senior vice president for Visual Display Business, said in a statement. "Our customers increasingly rely on mobile devices to obtain information and interact with others; so by doing away with the clutter on their desks, we are helping them to use their mobile devices in a smarter way. Through the integration of wireless mobile charging technology, our innovative SE370 monitor dramatically improves efficiency, convenience and connectivity at home and at work."

The monitor uses eye-save mode to overcome the adverse effects of blue light like eye damage and sleep disturbance. It also reduce eye strain by tweaking the picture quality to match your surroundings. The full-HD 24-inch S24E370DL and 27-inch S27E370DS displays come with AMD's anti-flicker gaming tech as well as 178-degree viewing angles.

But Samsung hasn’t yet revealed where and when the new monitor will be available or how much it will cost.
