In the popular hub of luxury restaurants, the G.K. 1 N-Block market, after entry and exit of few new restaurants, not many expect to find a new prodigy. But this place has definitely got everything what it takes to make public’s expectations rise from this location.
Pamphilos, which has joined the list of classy resto-bars in G.K.1 recently with a big bang is a must visit because of it being most unique restaurant in the area, courtesy to their stylish interior and beautiful entrance.
Though the place is not that roomy, it is adequately well managed to make the restaurant look spacious. There's also a rooftop ideally appropriate for autumn and winter season lunches. The bar counter has been carved to perfection with furniture being bistro-style contemporarily designed.
Coming to food, it’s mediocrely priced but one would feel satisfied after consuming. In starters, the restaurant is famous for its veg tandoori platter, which has enough quantity to satisfy 4 people’s appetite and includes Galouti kebab, tandoori mushroom, stuffed potato, corn seekh and paneer tikka. Corn seekh would definitely make anyone fall in love with it.
Then we ordered Fusilli arrabiata and veg quesadillas. Phew! Cooked to perfection, the pasta is one of the best across Delhi. The arrabiata sauce used is incredible and is probably the reason of the delightful taste of pasta. Quesadillas, stuffed with exotic vegetables, is tempting to see and delicious to eat.
Vegetable nirvana pizza and lasagna are such that one would be ready to go to an impeccable length for them. Absolutely lip-smacking, Lasagne is certainly the best you would find in GK area and pizza too is exceptionally good. Lasagna is filled with vegetables in Mornay sauce and several layers of cheese. And what makes the pizza exceptional is the perfect mix of flavours of basil and parsley.
After such a great meal description, you must be thinking that the chef would have been insanely great, it’s true, but that’s not all. The staffs are warm and service such quick that one will get done with a heavy meal in hardly any time.
Final Verdict would be that if you're a resident of Greater Kailash you need to visit this place because you would be making frequent visits after the first one. If you aren't a local resident even then you must give this restaurant a chance once.
