And the wait is over, mark 29 July in your phone calendars or wherever because this summer Microsoft has something great coming on 29th July for you; yes you guessed it right- Windows 10 that Microsoft is going to launch in nearly 190 markets globally.
It’s free if you upgrade to windows 10 within first year. Along with which Microsoft provides you with lifelong security updates. Microsoft want nearly 1billion devices running windows 10 before fiscal year 2018.
Major changes in windows 10 will be the introduction of your truly personal assistant, cortana and an amazing browser called the edge. First of all you can perform various tasks with cortana like the reminder thing and asking current weather report, where you are and have power of voice search (which is truly amazing, trust me I have used it).
Secondly- the Edge Browser, Internet explorer is dead=moment for rejoice, isn’t it. The edge would be our new default browser. As per sources it is considered to be the most advanced browser till date (more than Google chrome: P). because windows consider browser not only for surfing but for pleasurable surfing. One of its important features is extensions. Edge also maintains innovations like page markup, reading view and Cortana integration.
Microsoft has made improvements to the UX including a new Live Tile Animation for the start menu. Also Windows 10 will support high DPI displays.
If you have missed out continuum feature then probably you are going to regret because it has the power to convert your phone into pc or tab on the go. For better understanding refer Youtube link below:
Soon Windows 10 would be launched in windows phone devices which will render user with amazing experience of app world as it would allow porting apps from android and iOS platform directly.
Microsoft released four new Software Developer Kits (SDKs) which will support apps written in Web, .Net and Win32, Android C++/Java and Apple iOS Objective C, and allow developers to bring their apps to all Windows 10 platforms. - That means people won’t tease anymore Microsoft device lacking apps.
Windows 10 is expected to be the safest windows ever built, which itself is an achievement prior to the fact that windows is contaminated with heck of viruses and malwares.
Gamers delight, yes you rightly heard that. Gamers now have reason to rejoice with the coming of windows ten in store .Because Windows 10 will also come with some universal apps, equivalent to how Apple’s OS X comes loaded with iTunes, Movie-maker, the Photos app, etc. Xbox App for Windows 10 has new features like “Game DVR for PC games, screenshots, a Live Tile, user profiles, and real-name sharing.” Also users will no longer need to separately download drivers for the Xbox controller as they will be pre-installed on this build.
AFTER TALKING ABOUT THINGS BEING ADDED LET US SEE THINGS THAT WOULD DISAPPEAR NOW:
Windows previously stopped shipping WMC (Windows Media Center- TV on PC) with new versions of Windows 8 back in 2012. So, it's no surprise that if you are upgrading from Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1, Windows Media Center will be removed. Probably kodi, plex or media portal would replace it.
Gadgets in Windows 7 favorites (?) will also be killed in Windows 10. If that's something you absolutely need, you might consider the 8GadgetPack. Otherwise, you can get functionality similar to gadgets in the live tiles that many modern apps offer. For example, the Weather Channel's modern app will display your current conditions.
And probably the most uncertain was disappearance of hearts and minesweeper. Obviously there would be a third party’s clones bound. Aah! Well floppy drives disappearance won’t bother much to you will it?
So, if you’re a tech freak or planning to upgrade your Windows version, a lot is in store for you this July- a power packed Windows 10 version is coming your way.
