Well, at this moment when Board results are in students’ hands, we at Campus Candidly would like to make an effort to explain utility of professional courses being offered by Delhi University. Currently three professional courses- BMS(earlier BBS), BBA(FIA) (earlier BFIA) and B.A. Hons. Business Economics (earlier BBE) are being offered by Delhi University in thirteen of its colleges. There would be an entrance test, termed by the university as Joint Admission Test (JAT) on 14 June, 2015 for admission to the above specified courses. Prospective candidates can apply for the test online till 5 June, 2015. The test would contain 120 questions for which students will be provided with 120 minutes. Going by the popularity Bachelor of Management Studies tops the chart, though least number of seats is being offered in Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis). At the same time B.A. (Honours) Business Economics also doesn’t lag far behind as it is being offered by maximum number of colleges among the three i.e. 10.
Conclusively, all the three courses have their own worth, what your criteria should be while choosing among the three is:
1. Interest- whether you are interested in Economics, Accountancy or Business Studies and
2. Other options in your hand- you must compare your choice with the opportunity cost to reach the best decision.
Best of luck! Make the best choice for your career.
